Semi-underground waste containers
The Sotkon semi-underground containers have the same components of the Sotkon underground systems. The same concrete bunkers are manufactured using prefabricated moulds, providing items with perfectly controlled dimensions and completely watertight.
The cover can be fitted with hinges which allow it to open, turning on the respective rim of the concrete bunker to an angle close to 90 degrees. The cover is opened by means of a key. The basic effort of opening the cover is undertaken by two gas spring cylinders.
Externally different finishing design can be implemented. The cover is produced in polyethylene and designed in order not to allow the entry of liquids.
Input trap door
The input trap door of the semi-underground system has an innovative design in order to match perfectly with the whole product.
The trap door is made of resistant plastic of different colors.
Each bin is identified using signs displaying the type of waste to be deposited.
The cover lid or the drum is put in close position by itself with the gravity.
The semi-underground cover can be adapted with an external drum for volume reduction.
The drum is made of stainless steel with a wax treatment to preserve its outer appearance even in extremely harsh conditions.

Designed to maintain a seamless integration with the urban landscape, the exterior flnishing is applied directly to all sides of the concrete bunker.
Different type of flnishing as wood plates or aluminum can be adapted to the external area of the concrete bunker.
The external area of the system identifles the different type of garbage to be deposited.
Concrete bunker cover
With a singular design and unique aesthetic this item was constructed in order not to allow the entry of liquids into the system. Made of polyethylene it has an anti-corrosion treatment.
Customer can select the colour.
Automatic single hook
Developed to be attached to the end of the last extension of any crane.
With this hook, the crane can automatically grab Sotkon underground containers and move them to the waste collection vehicle.
Access control system
Perfect solution for cities that implement the PAYT. The access control restricts who can access the intake bin and allows control of volume of the waste deposited.
Sotkon presents the intelligent management system of waste which can monitor the level of loading of the containers.
The intelligent waste management system, a Sotkon innovation, prevents container overload.
Whenever a collection container requires emptying it communicates this fact to a central system, which then coordinates the fleet on the road in order to send a service vehicle to the site. In cases of greater urgency, the system directly communicates with the closest service vehicle.
